Tottenham & Everton both interested in Diego Rossi

A recent report from England has credited both Tottenham and Everton with an interest in Diego Rossi.

Who is Diego Rossi?

Diego Rossi is currently plying his trade in the MLS with Los Angeles FC.

The forward would join LA FC in January of 2018, departing his home country of Uruguay for a fee believed to be around £2.25m.

Rossi has since featured 107 times across all competitions for Los Angeles FC.

In said ties the Uruguayan has managed to net 56 and assist 21.

Rossi is naturally a left-winger. However, he is also very versatile and can be used as both a centre-forward or right-winger if required.

Now, the 23-year-old, as mentioned above, appears to be attracting interest from the Premier League.

According to a recent report from the Telegraph, both Tottenham and Everton are showing interest in the attacker.

It is added that Rossi is not expected to set any potential suitors back an awful lot, with a price-tag of £10m touted.

This fee does look to be reflected by Rossi only really been targeted as a back-up option.

The Telegraph briefly mentions Carlos Vinicius’s unsuccessful loan spell with Spurs, confirming that they do have a £36m option to make the move permanent.

However, it does look as though Rossi represents a much cheaper option at present.

They also mention Everton’s releasing of Josh King, perhaps suggesting that Rossi could be a replacement for the Norwegian.
